Join as a Cadet

Join the Air Cadets and enjoy oppurtunities that people can usually only dream of. To be an Air Cadet you must be 13 years old, or 12 years old if you're already in year 8 in school

Join as Adult Staff

Adult Volunteers are the lifeblood of our Squadron. Starting as a Civilian Instructor, you can earn qualifications and climb through the ranks. Open to those aged 20+.

Join as a Committee Member

Behind every Squadron is its own Civilian Committee. Made up of friends of the Squadron, this role only involves quartely meetings.

Do something amazing and have fun!

Everything we do in the Royal Air Force Air Cadets is about learning and training to help make you a better person.

Be it shooting, drill, archery or fieldcraft, you can learn so much and have fun at the same time.

Staff that support

Our Cadet Forces Adult Volunteers (CFAV) are the soul of every Cadet unit. They support our Cadets in both uniformed and non-uniformed roles. We are always looking for new adults to join. With no military experience needed, the RAF Air Cadets could be for you!

Whilst 1895 (Cromer) is for those local to the Squadron, the Royal Air Force Air Cadets has Squadrons across the UK open to young people and adults.
